Hey, long time fan here! Having listened to your three videogame oriented albums, I noticed that for the most part, the lyrics in ocarina of rhyme usually have something to do with the song itself (say, Jay-Z teaches about the rap code just like the owl, or Dr. Dre raps about still "having it" as if he had treasure), and the same happens in vinyl fantasy, This, though, doesn't seem to be the case in Super Nintendo Sega Genesis, maybe because it's based on several games and not certain aspects of one game (although Never Scared = link having the courage triforce is an absolute win), so I was wondering if this was intentional or just coincidence all along.
On all of my tracks, my primary concern is making it sound good. If there is thematic overlap, that’s a bonus, but it’s never planned.
